The Story of BOJ Airline

Its been a long time since this blog been update. And today update is to share about a story that BOJ Airline.

BOJ-Air(not-real) is one of one of the airline operated in Laer-Danl(not-real) and it have flights all over the world. One day while on the flight X0F-BOJ while on its flight to Maerd-Danl, it encounter a technical difficulties in one of its engine.

Pilot Reganam, being a very experience pilot, started to page the tower, "May-Day, May-Day, Flight X0F-BOJ is having engine failure. No time to turn around. Please Advise."

"Tower to flight X0F-BOJ, you are too far out and the only way is to land the plane on the sea. Do your best for minimal casualties."

"Flight X0F-BOJ to Tower, copy that"

After that, Pilot Reganam begin to plan to land the plane on the sea and have the cabin crew to arrange the passenger to have the evacuate to go smoothly once the plane landed on the sea to ease the evacuation process.

Pilot Reganam instructed that the passenger to be arranged in a way that who can swim, move to the right side of the plane. And those who can't swim to be moved to the left side of the plane. So the cabin crew made the arrangement according to the pilot and the pilot made the approach to land the plane on the sea.

After a few minutes, the plane landed and they only have 10 minutes to get out of the plane before it sink into the ocean. So the pilot quickly make way to exit the plane and his final word was "Those who can swim, quickly jump out of the plane and swim to the life boat waiting. Those who can't swim, thank you for flying with BOJ-Air. Its good to have you fly with us for this short term."

Story is a fiction story that just came into mind because we see it in our daily life. And it is happening. It doesn't link to any individual.

ATM Balance Picture

Recently, on my facebook page, there lots of "spams" of "if you want to earn extra money, pm me, or email me" which always picture of money inserted.

Well, no doubt, now days, people want to earn extra or more without actually putting extra effort. That is great that people is actually wanting to have something more, but without putting extra work?
Come on. You know when you go to the toilet would extra work too..

And copy-ing picture and upload to status update, even my grandmother would be able to do it if i teach her.
And the one who actually pm that person who advertise, join him/her, and when things not working out, they blame it on other people.

Well, there are legal way to earn extra income, bind by law, and give more return that what's in the picture. Only thing holding us back is the MIND.

Retirement Scheme

Save + Invest = RETIRE + Enjoy

what an interesting happen today. i actually attended a retirement scheme talk organize by my company finance department on the topic of retirement fund.

it talks about the scheme that if you want to retire, you must have at least have 2/3 of your current income per month being available after retire kept somewhere. And that fund ideally should last you for about 20years(malaysian retire at 60 years old). 

If you are getting paid 3k, by retirement, you should have at least (RM2000 * 12 mth) * 20 years, which come to about RM480000.

The scheme appear to be guarded by one of the commissioner that suppose to overlook where our money being invest in.

And the best part was that the speaker(not sure his name as i entered late) says that he could retire, but he chooses to work. and here he was, standing in front of a group of people, saying "in your retirement days, you should enjoy with the fund you have saved". 

not to down the guest speaker, but don't you think what he is saying kinda contradict of what he is "selling"?

Oh well, i knew people that are earning more than RM2k/m and more on their retirement "scheme" and they do not have to work till the age of 60 years old.

it was a fund day too.. gotta to "curi ayam".. :-D

oh and how about this equation

Salary Day

It’s almost end of the month and about this time, many of the working class, like me, would check their bank account to see if there is any additional cash flow into your account. To put in another word, "Salary" or "Pay". And one would be happy once their see that their hard earn money is in. And after a few days or even weeks, it goes back to the same cycle, waiting for "salary/pay" day.

And for the next 3 weeks(or so), we would be complaining and whining "price is increasing, but our salary still the same" or "cost of living is going up, but salary is not" or something like that. I also do complain about it, but what could we do about it? We are not in control of the price, the government is. They are the one who set how much is the price of an item. We certainly not in control of our salary, our employer are in control. They are the one that determine how much we should get based on our colleague qualification, what type of special skill that we have, what type of certification that we have.

One may say that “I’m in control of my life, not my boss/employer!!”, but are you sure?

When was the last time you take a week off just to relax on a sweet peaceful chalet overlooking the ocean without your boss/employer approval? Do you still have to ask your boss/employer to approve your leave form so that you could do that? I know I still do. So now, who is in control of your life?
